If you are looking for a great workout that pushes you every time, then this class is for you. I combine cardio and strength exercises to create a workout that is never the same and works every muscle (even maybe some you never knew you had!!). Not only is it a great workout, but I pride myself in giving you a comfortable place to come and workout and excel at your own pace.
I also incorporate the bags into the workout, so it also a great stress reliever!! You will need bag gloves. We have them for sale here. It is one of the only places where you can go, forget about your hectic life and just have a good time while getting a great workout.
Classes are Monday and Wednesday from 6:15-7:15pm for intermediate to advanced and Monday and Wednesday from 7:30-8:30pm for beginners. I also have a class on Friday mornings 9:00-10:00am and Saturday mornings from 10:00-11:00am and these are mixed classes for everyone. The classes are $8.00 per class per person and are for anyone over the age of 16! Come and workout when you can there are NO CONTRACTS!

I just want to tell everyone how much I LOVE the kickboxing classes. I am training to run a 5k and the kickboxing has made my core stronger which has greatly improved my Runs. I Highly recommend attending Heidi's kickboxing classes. I feel stinger each time

I absolutely love this class.. I have been attending off and on now for almost 9 years.. I was steady with it for 5 straight, and it's amazing!!!! I couldn't ask for a better trainer.. Not only is Heidi great at Karate but she kicks it up a notch for kick boxing. It's a great workout that's FUN.. And the friends you meet along the way are amazing .. If your looking for a great workout look NO further...

My brother and I were in karate and we knew a good place to go for fitness. I needed to loose weight. So my mom suggested Kickboxing, taught by Heidi Rudibaugh. I already knew her because I had been in karate with my brother when I was young. I watched what I ate, started kickboxing twice a week. What a workout! Sometimes I go Saturdays.
It's been five months and I have lost 17 pounds and I am still going strong! I feel better, look better and I feel stronger than I ever have in my entire life. This is an inexpensive, healthy lifestyle change. I plan to continue to live healthy. I love The Art of Karate!! They knew just what I needed and they were right! I can't thank The Art of Karate enough. I don't know what I would have done if it wasn't for the great teachers and people there.
They really know their stuff!! I can't thank Ms. Rudibaugh enough, who is now a sisxth degree black belt for helping me, teaching me and making me an all around stronger person. Everyone should havethis opportunity to improve their life so they can live life the the fullest. Thank you so much

i started kickboxing a yr and a half ago when my doctor was about to change my diabetic pills over to insulin shots and i said no way..i met heidi and changed my unhealth life style to a healthy life style. heidi's confidence in me and motivation mixed with my determination and dedication i am now FREE FROM MY DIABETIC MED'S and 70lbs down and feel stonger and healthier than ever..i went from my first class crawling off the mat to go puke to now i just challenged myself to doing double classes..im now a kickboxing/excersize junky and loving every minute of it.im now in the driver seat controling my diabeties versus diabetes cintroling me..THANKS HEIDI FOR BELEIVING IN ME AND NEVER QUITING ON ME AND KEEPING CLASS FUN/NEW/AND EXCITING.love you girl!!! deedee

I have been coming to Kickboxing now for three years. I live 40 minutes away from The Art of Karate, three miles away from my house is a state of the art gym and aerobics facility. I drive to Kickboxing every Monday and Wednesday because it is worth it, period. Heidi's class is one of the most intense, challenging, and muscle comprehensive workouts I have ever done. Heidi takes the time to work with students to show proper technique and form. It is a great mix of cardio, strength building and self defense. Not only is the class awesome, but the students are great. I have made some great friendships in class. It's a great positive and motivating environment, and it is always a guaranteed butt kicker!

When I went to the first class I terrified at the thought of it being something else that what it was. The atmosphere was very friendly supportive, and encouraging. I instantly calmed down and realized that no one was there trying to be superwoman, we were all trying to feel better. I have lost 30 pounds in 3 months. It might not seem like allot to some, but I'm loosing it the right way this time and I won't gain it back. My body is so addicted to kick boxing I feel sore when I DON'T go. Heidi makes everything be our fight and we have to work for what we get, but she gives us the tools and the correct way to get there.

Heidi is a GREAT instructor. Since day one I'm hooked. She changes up each class so it is never boring. She works every muscle in the body. I look forward to going to class.
The kickboxing class all starts with the instructor, and Heidi is not only an amazing instructor, but one that will work you to your limits. On my first day, I thought I was going to get a good workout, while really, I received not only a butt kicking (given to me by Heidi in workouts), but the greatest feeling workout I have ever experienced. Heidi really knows how to work the muscles in your body during exercises and has a great knowledge of how to keep her students in shape. Honestly, I've never has an instructor/coach like Heidi in any sport I've ever played, whether it be football or wrestling. That says allot already. Although Heidi really gets me tires and sweaty during class, you feel great afterward and accomplished as well.... until the next class. It's always a challenge and since I love challenges , I will continue to come to class because of Heidi and the way she conducts her kickboxing classes

The first class I went to I was hooked! I have never enjoyed a workout as much as this! Kickboxing not only is a great workout but a great way to relieve stress. I love Heidi as a person and instructor. The people and environment are very encouraging and friendly. With the help of kickboxing and a healthy diet, I have lost 25 pounds and have muscle definition I haven't had in years. It truly is a great class.

I have been doing Heidi's class for over a year now. It all started when I wanted to try something new after I had a baby. I have never been in better shape in my whole life. I lost 3 pant sizes and 20 pounds plus gained so much definition in my whole body. It is the best workout I have ever had. Heidi is on excellent instructor, pushing you to do the best you an to achieve the maximum results suited for you. Everyone comes into the class a different level but the greatest thing is that you do what you can and eventually you WILL be able to get the same level that everyone else is. I love it and would recommend the class to anyone.
